O festival abre na sexta-feira, dia 15, com o virtuoso vocalista de jazz no estilo “scat” JD Walter e Quarteto (EUA). 

JD Walter é considerado um cantor americano de jazz de topo, comparado com nomes sonantes do jazz como Betty Carter, Nat Cole, Nina Simone e Milton Nascimento. Acompanham-no Orrin Evans ao piano, Mark Kelley no baixo e Donald Edwards na bateria.
